‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Spoilers, Update: More Elevens To Be Featured? Show’s Hairstylist Talks Fan Speculations, Cast News

Science fiction-horror series "Stranger Things" has made its name among the best Netflix original series this year. Due to the success of the freshman season, "Stranger Things" season 2 was confirmed in August and is scheduled to be aired sometime in 2017.

With the upcoming release of the nine-episode second season next year, a lot of speculations surrounding the show's possible content have surfaced. Now in a recent interview even the show's hairstylist, Sarah Hindsgaul, has addressed some of these fan speculations.

In October, it was reported that Netflix had a casting call for women who were willing to have their hair cut. Assumptions of the show creating multiple "Eleven" characters for "Stranger Things" season 2 have then emerged. Hindsgaul acknowledged knowing about the rumor as she shared the production team always looks at what people are writing online.

According to her, a Reddit post that talked about an ad for extras who were willing to shave their head was blown completely out of proportion. She then slammed the hearsay with a little bit of a spoiler.

"We actually needed women who would be willing to cut their hair and get bangs, while all the male extras actually needed to grow their hair out," she shared. "Some male extras have been growing out their hair for the past nine months."

Regarding hair issues, the professional hairstylist has opened up about Millie Bobby Brown's (Eleven) struggle with her almost-bald hairstyle in real life. She went on to tell about Brown being mistaken for a boy in town and in airports and how she had to deal with it for a couple of months.

Hindsgaul also let out a big revelation about another cast member who has hair issues. Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) also has his fair share of hair problems because of a New Year's Eve party in New York. He burned his hair as he was washing his hands in the bathroom, hence, Hindsgaul had to put hair extensions every morning for three months during their filming.

Now that the hair issue has been addressed, fans can only wait for "Stranger Things" season 2  to have their theories and speculations validated and confirmed.
