The Best Advantage About 'Xbox One' Game Downloads

Before the upcoming release of the much-awaited Xbox Project Scorpio on 2017, Xbox One has already answered one of its user's greatest concern, which is the sluggish downloading experience. Although the console is doing pretty well with its excellent selection of games, media features, amazing controllers, and excellent online service, the time consumed for downloading is very lengthy.

New update greatly improves Xbox One performance

Owners of Xbox One may have noticed an incredible difference after the console's recent update. After the update, it has become noticeably faster. After several complaints regarding its slow download, Microsoft has sped it up for up to 80% quicker.

The said news was recently shared on Microsoft's Xbox support page. This did not only enhance the overall stability of the entire console but also lessened the amount of waiting time for the games to completely download.

Faster Download For Users

Technically, all users will experience a true difference in downloading. However, the biggest improvement is going to be for those who are using high-speed internet connection, which, according to the Microsoft support website, should be greater than 100 Mbps. With that, apps and games are downloaded 80% faster compared to its past performance.

Slow connections will still get the benefit

There's also no need to worry for those who don't have an ultra-fast connection since, according to recent online reports, they will also experience the said performance boost. The update also stated that anyone who has a less than 100 Mbps connection will still be able to experience a boost in their system.

No more long downloads!

According to reports, this would take about 40% faster compared to the previous downloading time, therefore, downloading games like Forza Horizon 3, FIFA '17, Destiny, Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1, and more, will take only a few hours or less. No more reasons to get annoyed. This is yet another reason to get hooked with Microsoft's Xbox One!
