Mazda Brings Custom CX-5 And CX-3 Versions At Tokyo Auto Salon

The next generation of Mazda CX-5 has made its global debut at the 2016 LA Auto Show just a month ago and it was able to generate a lot of hype prior to its release next year. However, it appears that the automaker wants more attention for its new model SUV as Mazda is set to bring custom CX-5 and CX-3 versions at the Tokyo Auto Salon next month.

The Custom CX-5

It has been confirmed that the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will make an appearance at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon that will be held next month. However, it's not just making any ordinary appearance as it is coming to the auto show with a different look. The custom version of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will have a sportier look thanks to a new bumper lip and modified side mirrors.

In addition, the custom version of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 also has new side skirts and a rear bumper lip to match the one in the front. Other modifications include the 2017 Mazda CX-5 wearing a set of 20-inch wheels with 245/45R20 tires. Lastly, the custom version of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 has a height adjustable suspension along with aluminum pedals and brake callipers painted in black.

The Custom CX-3

The Mazda CX-5 is not the only one that will appear at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon with a new look. It was reported that the CX-3 will also grace the event with its custom version. Similar to the CX-5, the CX-3 has a similar look as the CX-5 as both models have the same modified side mirrors. The same report mentioned that the size of the wheels between the CX siblings is what makes the difference between them. The most notable feature of the CX-3 is that it appears to have put on some more muscles in terms of design.

Will The Custom Versions Make It To US

It would be interesting to see the custom versions of the Mazda CX-5 and CX-3 at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. But whether the custom versions will make it to the U.S. market when the CX-5 arrives next year remains to be seen. It is certain however, that a lot of people are hopeful that it will come to the land of the free.
