Pokemon GO Latest News: Players Save Lives In Warehouse Fire; Developer Cancels ‘Pokemon Prism’ Launch

This news will give Pokemon GO plays a lot more encouragement to play the game. There was negative news that came out stemming from the stampede that happened in Central Park, New York City, when players were trying to catch Vaporeon. But lately, there were two lads who were instrumental in saving lives, just because they were playing the game.

Two Guys Were Able To Save Lives Because Of The Game

Apparently, Trey Plocher and his buddy, Matt Schwan were out playing Pokemon GO in a riverfront in St. Louis, Missouri last Saturday night. While playing the game, they smelled smoke and found that it was coming from a nearby warehouse. And then they realized that those inside were crying for help.

Immediately, the two called 911 for help and the firefighters came and rescued the people trapped inside the building. If not for Trey and Matt playing Pokemon GO that particular night and time, there would be some people who would not be alive today. But as it happened, the two are probably tracking a Pokemon monster and trying to catch it and were led near the burning warehouse.

This even illustrates that Pokemon GO is not only for the enjoyment and excitement of gamers, but also for the unseen benefits it can do to people. As the players are out in the open searching for a Pokemon monster, they may encounter people in dire situations that they can help one way or the other.

Nintendo Issued A Cease And Desist Order To Adam

But there's also negative news that happened to an avid fan of Pokemon GO recently. According to GameRant, the game developer of Pokemon Prism canceled the launch of his new video game because Nintendo has issued a cease and desist order. It appears that Prism is a Pokemon ROM hack created by a certain individual called Adam.

Nintendo, the developer and owner of Pokemon GO, has issued a cease and desist order to Adam. This prompted the latter to cancel the launch of Pokemon Prism. There are rumors that say he has this game in development for the last 8 years. Nintendo came to know of the Prism through the teaser that Adam uploaded.
