Battlefield 1 Holiday Update Includes New Custom Games, Free Battlepacks

EA's Battlefield 1 Holiday Event has just kicked off today bringing along some exciting surprises and additions including shiny dog tags and custom games. Starting today until the 29th of December, players can unlock something useful they can use in the game.

For starters, players can now add a custom game called Blind Delivery. This new mode is actually a variation of the War Pigeons mode but a little more difficult. That's because in Blind Delivery, the maps are turned off so players just have to rely on their intuition and strategy to survive. The mode becomes even much harder because players can only use their handguns here. Don't worry, though, because explosives are allowed. Blind Delivery is ideal for those players who get a kick out of very difficult levels.

Aside from the custom game mode, Battlefield 1 players also can now unlock the Holiday Truce dog tag, which was made available on December 22. All players have to do is log in to their account to get this. However, this goodie is available once in every account.

Still on the same day, Battlefield 1 is also releasing two new tank skins which they can use for their Heavy Tanks. The first one is the Legendary Desert Gold tank skin while the other one is the Distinguished Schnuck.

Then on December 23, players will receive one Battlepack for each account when they log in during this day. On the other hand, those who have a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will receive two Superior Battlepacks. Items inside the Battlepacks can vary; however, those who have a Premium Pass can get 14 Superior Battlepacks in all.

Aside from this, all Premium Pass holders have an Early Access to the new Battlefield 1 expansion pack 'They Shall Not Pass' which will be released next year.
