They've laid hands on nearly every big-name device to come out in 2016. They have put together how some of the bigger names stack up on when it comes to repairability. iFix stated the most and least repairable devices they ended up breaking into throughout the year.

There are all kinds of things we take into consideration when you choose a new smartphone. People who are good at the business of taking things apart and putting them back together again, well iFixit gave a repairability score of 8 on a 10 point scale in their 2016 roundup. They reported that the removable back and battery and modular components and the circuit boards inside also not the outer modules in this case as the reason why it's so easy to take the smartphone apart.

Things like standard screws and easy-to-remove screens also garner points in the judging, on the other hand, excessive adhesive, soldered components and also the complex opening procedures make the process harder and result in a lower score.
