Red Dead Redemption 2 Online: 4 Things Players Wish Rockstar Will Add To The Gameplay

Die-hard fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be happy to know that its developer has confirmed that the video game will be launched next year. An online version is also confirmed that will accompany the console version. This is much like what GTA online is, with regards to Grand Theft Auto 5.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is about the hard and difficult life in the heartland of America. It was developed by Rockstar Games, an established game development company that also developed Grant Theft Auto. Rockstar has not really revealed information as to what stage of development the video game is in right now. But the more important thing is that Rockstar has confirmed that it will be launched sometime in 2017.

Since the game developer is scrimping on the information about Red Dead Redemption 2, players naturally are left wondering what the game contents will be. They can't be blamed for having a wish list of what items they want to be added to the game. Here are some of the things gamers would like to be included in the upcoming video game.

The Video Game Must Have A Living World

There is no question about it: the graphics of Red Dead Redemption 2 is superb. The texture, the color and the resolution are all excellent. But there is one thing lacking: life. The beauty of the graphic elements is considerably affected by the lifelessness of the gameplay. Players wish that they can mingle among the people in the town, or sit with them in the saloon, or be in the middle of a gunfight. If players are able to mingle with the characters of the game, that would be great.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Should Not Be A GTA Online With A Different Skin

Players of Red Dead Redemption 2 want the video game to be uniquely different from Grand Theft Auto Online. The tendency for video game developers is to dress a video game to make it appear different, but the style and mode of gameplay is the same. In RDR 2, the all the characters should not be criminals and the missions should be varied.  A system of morality will also be effective in making the video game unique.

The Story Could Be Simplified

The trailer of Red Dead Redemption 2 showed the silhouette of seven riders going down a hill. There is a possibility that they may all be playable protagonists. In that case, the story plot of the video game will be quite complicated. This could create confusion with the players of the game. They will enjoy the game more if the story is focused on one central character. A simplified story will bring more enjoyment and not confusion to the players.

The Game Should Have Regular Updates

Rockstar is in the habit of issuing regular updates to Grand Theft Auto. It should also do the same to Red Dead Redemption 2 upon its release. This monthly DLC updates serve to give fresh life to the video game encouraging the players to login every time they are released. Even if it will be difficult for Rockstar to add new vehicles, this regular updates must not be ignored.

There are reports that some retailers have received cardboard boxes and posters that have Red Dead Redemption 2 promotional artwork printed on them. The text "Autumn 2017" is also printed on the cardboard boxes. Also indicated on them is PEGI 18 which could be the game's rating. So, this video game could be available in Autumn of next year.
