Microsoft Offers More Free Games On Xbox Live Gold Available For Xbox One And Xbox 360 This January 2017

Microsoft will not clearly be left behind as it celebrates New Year with its loyal gamers with more free games to offer available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming consoles. The new free titles just gone live and are now available exclusively for Xbox Live Gold members for a limited time.

Free Video Games For Xbox One

This month, Xbox Live Gold will be making three video games free to download namely, “Deathtrap: World of Van Helsing”, “Killer Instinct Season 2”, and “Outlast”. “Deathtrap: World of Van Helsing” is an immersive action-adventure role-playing game that was released just this New Year. Though it is new, Microsoft has offered it for free for Xbox Live Gold members from Jan.1 up to Jan. 31 this year.

“Killer Instinct Season 2” is the first update of the popular fighting video game “Killer Instinct”. The said sequel was first released in September 2014 and added new features to the games such as the use of combo breakers and counter breakers. “Killer Instinct Season 2” will be available for free for Gold members from Jan. 16 to Feb. 15 this year.

Lastly, the first-person survival video game, “Outlast” will be available for Gold members from Dec. 16, 2016 until Jan 15, 2017. Released in 2013, this video game was designed for five gaming platforms and received positive reviews, which eventually led to having a sequel. Red Barrels have set the release of “Outlast 2” sometime in the first quarter of 2017.

Free Video Games For Xbox 360

Xbox Live Gold members will be treated to two free video games up for grabs for Xbox 360 users. Published by Sega and released in January 2013, “The Cave” will be made available for free from Jan. 1 to Jan 15. It is a puzzle platform and adventure video game that is set in a magical cave that is embodied with a labyrinth of tunnels.

The other free game is “Rayman Origins” that will be available from Jan. 16 to Jan. 31 this year. Developed by Ubisoft, it is the fourth main installment in the well-known “Rayman” video game series and was released in November 2011. “Rayman Origins” is a side-scrolling platform video game wherein up to four players go through several levels fighting off various enemies and rescuing abducted Electoons.
