According to report, the Mazda 3 2017 has two powertrain options. The first is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of putting out 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. The other is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that can crank out 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. The engines are paired with a standard six-speed manual and an optional six-speed automatic transmission as reported.

In addition, it also has a great fuel economy rating of 25 and 33 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway respectively as reported.

The Mazda 3 2017 is available in three trims as a hatchback and sedan. In addition, the Mazda 3 2017 also has an exclusive hatchback only trim. The base Mazda 3 Sport has a price tag of $17,845. The Touring trim starts at $20,445 and the Grand Touring is at $24,196 as reported. Depending on the trim level and model options, buyers may need to add a little more in the starting prices.
