Final Fantasy XV Game Director Promised To Make Future DLC And Updates

Square Enix and Final Fantasy XV game director Hajime Tabata extended their New Year's greetings to their players and promised to reward them big for their all-out support in making the latest game title from the franchise a huge success. Sources said fans will be expecting more DLC and in-game updates to arrive soon.

According to the report from Game Rant, Final Fantasy XV has reached around 10 years of development until it is officially out in the stores. The years of hard work and dedication by the team lead to a huge success as the title received very positive reviews, despite its criticisms regarding the complicated plot. Apparently, the holes in the game's plot will be patched soon. This is the result of Hajime Tabata's commitment in continually bringing improvement to the title's player experience.

Meanwhile, Tabata does not believe that Final Fantasy XV's development ends after its official release. As a result, tons of post-launch DLCs will be launched this year and perhaps beyond that. This was reflected in Square Enix's New Year's post found on their official blog where the game director was grateful to the Final Fantasy's community. In addition, he swears to give back their player's continuous support.

As seen on the post, a list of achievements for the game are registered. One of them is the release of a CG movie entitled Kingsglaive and lots of hard work to translate the game for a broader audience, where all of which surely requires significant amount of work.

On the other hand, Tabata suggests to provide more exciting experiences and constant release of in-game updates and DLCs this year. However, the details regarding these future releases remain unclear at the moment. Perhaps, it could be something that aligns with the recent Holiday Pack DLC that will grant their players several bonuses in celebrating the season.
