Mazda 3 2017 Review: Changes Every Buyer Should Know

Out of the many compact cars in the auto industry, there are only a few vehicles in the segment that are good enough to hold the title of best sellers and the Mazda 3 is one of them. Since Mazda 3 has a new model, there are changes every buyer should know. Here are the new things in the Mazda 3 2017.

Subtle Exterior Design Modifications

According to a report from Road and Track, the Mazda 3 2017 does not look very different from the previous version at first glance. However, if one were to put the new model next to the previous one, the changes in terms of its appearance will become clear. Some of the most notable changes in the Mazda 3 2017 are the new front bumper and grille. The rear section has also been redesigned with a new lower bumper found in the hatchback model.

Performance Is As Good As Ever

If it is not broken, do not fix it. The automaker apparently headed this saying as it left the already great overall performance of the Mazda 3 alone. It was reported that the Mazda 3 2017 is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that is capable of 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque for the Sport and Touring trims. The top of the line Grand Touring trim draws 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque from a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine. Accordingly, buyers have a choice between a six-speed manual or automatic transmission for its gearbox.

The Steering Wheel Says It Better

Reading about the specs of the Mazda 3 2017 makes it appear like there is nothing special about it compared to its rivals as reported. However, simply reading about it and experiencing how the Mazda 3 2017 performs in real road conditions are two different things. One would have to get behind its steering wheel to be able to tell the difference. After all, nothing says it better than first-hand experience.
