The Mazda 3 2017 currently holds the number one spot in the compact car segment and for good reasons. It received a minor facelift but it appears that it got more than just that. Apparently, the whole Mazda 3 2017 has been updated to give a better performance.

According to report, the Mazda 3 2017 has two powertrain options. The first is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of putting out 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. The other is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that can crank out 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. The engines are paired with a standard six-speed manual and an optional six-speed automatic transmission as reported.

The Mazda 3 2017 is not exactly the best compact car in terms of looks but it is certainly the best in performance. It was reported that the Mazda 3 2017 has superb steering that allows drivers to tackle corners easily and brakes that are strong enough to stop the car in a quickly if necessary.

It was also mentioned that the Mazda 3 2017's manual gearbox also inspires people to become better drivers and ditch bad driving habits given the fact that it is a very easy car to drive. In addition, it also has a great fuel economy rating of 25 and 33 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway respectively as reported.

Mazda 3 2017 Trims And Prices

The Mazda 3 2017 is available in three trims as a hatchback and sedan. In addition, the Mazda 3 2017 also has an exclusive hatchback only trim. The base Mazda 3 Sport has a price tag of $17,845. The Touring trim starts at $20,445 and the Grand Touring is at $24,196 as reported. Depending on the trim level and model options, buyers may need to add a little more in the starting prices. The same is true if buyers want to upgrade the features of their Mazda 3 2017 as reported.
