Smite Has Released Its First God From The Celtic Pantheon

Rumors about Hi-Rez Studios adding its first god for its latest Celtic pantheon have been circulating for around two weeks now. This time, they have finally made the announcement during the Hi-Rez Expo event.

The Morrigan "The Phantom Queen" is the first god of the new Celtic pantheon. She is also Smite's 84th playable character overall. Soon, she will be assigned in the mage role once she joins the rest of the cast once patch 3.25 will hit. The Morrigan is full of abilities since she has a kit which is a first for Hi-Rez Studios. She is capable of summoning clones of the players, and she can transform into a god that is present during the match whether if it is an enemy or not. She can use their whole kit, including their ultimate ability.

Doomsayer is the third hit of The Morrigan hit chain and it can inflict damage to all of the enemies within its vicinity through an explosion, thus dooming all of the enemies that it can hit. These doomed enemies will be taking further damage during the course of time.

Deadly Aspects can be used to summon her alternate forms and call them to their side. When this is again activated, they will be targeting their damage and power to destroy and shock enemies nearby. Dark Omen can launch a surge of dark magic directed towards the enemies, thus it deals with damage as it applies an omen within minutes. Enemies that were hit by an omen will be having bonus damage coming from the players' team mates, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.

Confusion can create a phantom and it can charge to a certain area to become invisible. Changeling can activate the players' ultimate and it gives the power to pick and choose any god that is within the match and copy them to transform into the same kind.
