Mass Effect: Andromeda Confirms That There Won't Be A Season Pass

Upon the completion of the holiday buying season, gamers and developers are expecting games that they are going to release in the year 2017. Bioware's Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of the most anticipated games for the year. This is the follow-up edition to the famous space exploration adventure franchise.

There are tons of excitement that is building around Mass Effect: Andromeda, and gamers have been active in social media in seeking information that they could possibly get from Bioware, the game's developer. Aarlyn Flynn, the studio general manager, recently responded to the questions and concerns that were thrown by fans.

The latest answer that he gave on Twitter was about whether Mass Effect: Andromeda will be having a Season Pass or not. His response was just a simple Nope. This is great news for those players since we also have to consider the gaming industry's current situation. Many developers are looking for ways to obtain revenue that is as high as possible for every game that they launched, according to Game Rant. This will be including the selling of Season Passes for all of their future expansions, thus adding microtransitions to the games, while being insistent on having multiple editions for every title for every release.

This information about Mass Effect: Andromeda not having a Season Pass may look like a good news, despite this notion, gamers will have to wait for further information. Respawn Entertainment planned to have all of the future DLCs for free which is why EA Game Titanfall2 will not have a Season Pass as well. Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on Mar. 21, 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.
