Pokemon Go Update: Razzberry Drop Rate Has Been Decreased

Razzberries are one of Pokemon Go's essential resources when it comes to capturing strong Pokemon in the wild. These are used to increase chances of successfully capturing the encountered Pokemon. These are acquired in a variety of ways such as leveling up and PokeStop drop. However, players are currently complaining that there is a sudden decrease on the drop rate of Razzberries in the game, which caused them to have a shortage on the supply of the said item.

According to the report from Otakukart, several Pokemon Go players have noticed the sudden decrease of Razzberries' drop rate. Trainers said that it surprised them to see that they are running low on Razzberries recently. As a result, they have conducted an investigation regarding the latest issue. Apparently, it was discovered that the reason behind the so-called decrease is that more items are being introduced as you progressed to the game. That means there are few items that can be looted when the player is still at the basic levels.

Once the trainer progressed, several items such as Super Potion, Hyper Potion, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Max Revive and more will slowly become available to the game making common drops such as PokeBalls and Razzberries' rate lowered. This is caused by all available items sharing a fair amount of drop rate every time a player spins a PokeStop or levels up.

In addition, the frequency of using Razzberries continues to rise as the player enters higher levels since there will be more chances of encountering stronger Pokemon. Same goes for PokeBalls and other in-game resources. So using the resources wisely is still the key in order to avoid depletion.

On the other hand, Pokemon Go's rumored Valentine's Day event is expected to bring some new bonuses to their fans around the globe. However, there is still no additional information regarding the future Pokemon Go Event.
