Pokemon Go Events Plans To Raise Money For Vandergrift, PA Welcoming Sign

Pokemon Go Events are being used in some other places as a means of raising funds for a lot of causes, for example Zoos that are finding a way of generating extra funds so that they can take care of the animals. This time, there is a Pokemon Event for Vandergrift. It is a borough that is located in the Westmoreland County in Pennsylvania, US, which is precisely 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

There is a Welcoming sign on Hancock Avenue in Vandergrift, but it is now damaged due to old age or for some other reasons. The money which they are going to give to the city is not enough for completing the replacement of this sign. It is for this reason that the city conducted a Pokemon Go event that is open for all people from the city to attend. Due to this event, they were able to raise around $400, and it will be used for the cost of the new sign.

The event was still able to attract visitors and eventhough Pokemon Go is not a thing at all to this city, and they have also made Pokemon a part of their Halloween activities. Owner of Irie Productions, Chaffins is making two events that will encourage the youth to raise more money since the aluminum welcome sign will cost around $2000, according to Otaku Kart. Alex Chaffins has extended his help to make the Alle-Kiski Valley first Pokemon Go event in August.

He said that they are planning for an Easter event and at the same time, a first day of summer blowout event in time for the end of the classes of Kiski Area School District. Both of the events will be conducted in downtown Vandergrift.  All players in this area are being encouraged to extend their support this event.
