Why '2017 Honda CR-V' Is Better Than Accord And Civic?

2016 was a year for Honda to remember. It was during this year that both the leaders were the Honda Accord and Honda Civic in terms of for the majority of the year when it came to boosting the overall sales of vehicles from the car maker. On the other end, the slowly declining Honda CR-V has been left behind, struggling for sales and making it hard to gain some much-needed profit.

But for this year, it is going to be a whole different story. According to several reports, the 2017 Honda CR-V has already put an end to the CR-V line's dismal sales and has now taken the lead for the best-selling car.

The Honda CR-V so far

In this early time of the year, the 2017 Honda CR-V has already enjoyed a 4.4% increase compared to last year, currently, with 30, 306 sales, while overall Honda saw its surprising climb to the top as a very welcoming sign that this year will still be Honda's to take.

Honda still experiencing sale decrease

But According to reports, the company is currently experiencing a 2% decrease in overall sales. According to other reports, the majority of the focal core models of the carmaker has already suffered sales losses and, which further explains the drop down in the overall sales numbers. The Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Honda Pilot and the Honda Odyssey are all prime contributors to the decline in sales.

Decrease by the numbers

As reports were circulated, it was revealed that there was a sales decrease of about 15% with the Honda Accord with sales at 25, 551 and sales of the Honda Civic were down 5% with sales at 26, 359. So while most of the vehicles of Honda are currently declining in sales, the 2017 Honda CR-V has been thriving so far.
