Maybe the most disturbing and creepy video game that we have for this year. Call Of Cthulhu just showed on their initial trailer how serious they are when it comes to the cinematics of the games and everything that surrounds it.

For those who aren’t familiar with the game, it is based on American writer H.P Lovecraft’s twisted stories. Some of his works include Blood Bowl and Styx: Master Of Shadows. Call of Cthulhu, a role-playing investigation psychological horror game. This game raised some eyebrows in the world of gaming due to its complexity. However, it was still widely received by many due to its originality and story.

Call Of Cthulhu: Mr. Pierce And The Missing Bodies

As seen in the very first trailer of the game. Mr. Edward Pierce who is a Private Detective visits the mysterious Darkwater Island in Boston. His mission is to identify the person behind the mysterious killings of a renowned artist and his family. Edward Piece is a great detective and he usually relies on his instinct.

However, he will find soon enough that instinct will never be good enough in solving the case. Mr. Pierce will be caught up between reality and his own sanity. He will reach a point where he even questions himself. Going back to the trailer, if we are going to dissect it, there are a lot of weird things surrounding Darkwater Island.

First, there’s a weird symbol on the floor where Edward Pierce is standing. Second, a lot of dead bodies scattered in the area and lastly, a group of hooded creatures seemingly doing some chants. Although it is still not clear whether Edward Pierce is dealing with humans or unexplained creatures, he has to accomplish his mission. The release date of Call of Cthulhu is not yet finalized but we are hoping it will happen early this year.
