Motorola Z (2017) Spotted In GeekBench, Powerful Specs Revealed

Is there a new Motorola Z in the process? According to a source,  there indeed seems to be one in the works, that is currently making rounds in tech town. Motorola announced Moto Z last year which had a modular design, similar to what LG G5 got. However, the Moto Z was more successful than LG when it comes to design in terms of having a super slim metal body, specs, and the mods made an impressive combination that the consumers couldn't resist. Motorola would definitely work on its next upcoming model. A new smartphone was spotted at Geekbench with the model number of Motorola XT1650, which is the model number for Moto Z.

Moto Z Expected Specs And Features

The information on the new device is limited but we can see that it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and uses the MSM8998 System-on-Chip. It is also clocked at up to 1.9 GHz. In addition, it comes with 4 GB of RAM, though it remains to be seen if the device will chip with this much RAM when it's unveiled later in the year, as more and more competitors are expected to be moving to shipping devices with 6 GB of more RAM. The device is also running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is the latest update of the Android platform released. As for the benchmark scores, this Snapdragon 835-powered device scores well too.

Moto Z(2017) Could Be Revealed in MWC Event Next Week

It would really make perfect sense for Motorola including Qualcomm's powerful chipset inside its upcoming flagship smartphone, so there's no shocking surprise there. Also, it remains to be seen whether or not the device will be revealed at Mobile World Congress next week, or Lenovo will go for a dedicated event.
