‘Nioh’ New Trailer Tells The Tale Of Two Samurais; Meet Ishida And Tokugawa

KoeiTecmo is clearly on the roll with promoting the up and coming highly awaited samurai video game titled, “Nioh.” The developer has already released tons of trailers featuring game plays, the characters, and even a gist of what will go down with the last beta. Now it has released another trailer telling the tale of two samurais that started the war, which William is in the middle of.

Koei Tecmo unveiled another trailer for the background story of “Nioh” and it is about two prominent figures in the samurai world. The trailer, which has been titled “The Two Samurai Who Fight for the Land”, introduces Ishida Mitsunari And Tokugawa Ieyasu. Apparently, these two are the famous historical figures that played a great part in fighting off the demons while going against each other.

Ishida Mitsunari is the long-lasting rival of Tokugawa Ieyasu and both were two of the famous figures that the protagonist named William ran into in the past. That said, this puts more input on William, the blonde samurai. William arrived in the Sengoku era of Japan in pursuit of an enemy that wields supernatural powers and it seems only William can fend off this wretched being.

Aside from the trailer titled “The Two Samurai Who Fight for the Land”, Koei Tecmo also released more videos featuring and showcasing the gameplay brought upon during the last beta. The said developers has held its third and final beta or demo version of “Nioh” to put the changes and improvement in the said game in play. The demo has been aptly titled “Nioh” Last Chance Trial and it went live on Jan. 21.

The said demo version was only live for 24 hours, which meant it was held until Jan. 22. Though a lot of players were able to play the final demo, Koei Tecmo still streamed a special feature video that lasted for two hours. The said streamed video shows the people behind the development of “Nioh” playing the latest demo while discussing its attributes. Koei Tecmo has been eager to show off the progress of the video game since it has gone through a lot developing it.

Nioh” has actually gone through a several changes since the developers have released the first two demo, which are the alpha and beta versions. They have released the trial versions in hope of getting a response from the public and checking out what they needed to do more for the game. It seemed like they took to heart most of the feedback and made “Nioh” into something better and well, probably more difficult.

They have already revealed that they have upgraded the gameplay, inspiring its difficulty from “Bloodborne” and “Dark Souls” and even taking into consideration the challenging mode of “Ninja Gaiden 3”. Aside from that, they have added a new player versus player multiplayer mode while putting into mind that the skill sets of the protagonist must be simple and similar to his enemies. The developments in the game were triggered after Koei Tecmo decided they wanted a game that will reach out and attract gamers that are into various genres of video games.
