Koei Tecmo has just released the latest trailer for the up and coming role-playing video game titled “Toukiden 2”. The said trailer features the characters as well as the challenging gameplay of the said video game. Aside from revealing more attributes of the game, the publisher company has finally announced the release dates for the United States and Europe.

A new promotional video from Koei Tecmo was just recently unveiled for the awaited demon-slaying video game titled “Toukiden 2”. The said trailer showcased the usual explosive gameplay surrounded by another vividly painted environment and paired with new playable characters. The trailer introduced five new characters or classes of hunters namely the gun slinging Professor, stealthy Tokitsugu, armored Gwen that can carry a sword and shield at the same time, the lady Benizuki who wields a lance, and the manly Homura who wields a whip blade.

The gameplay for “Toukiden 2” is similar to the first video game, which relies on a third-person monster hunting scheme wherein players can employ groups that may consist of other players or non-playable characters (NPC). Just like any monster hunting game, this action role-playing video game has tons of quests and there are various rewards to gain from different kinds of prey. Though there are quests, the said impending game is set on a story where the main character is a Slayer who has been tasked to defend the last few villages existing in the human world and to fend off possible attacks from all shapes and sizes of Oni, which in Japanese is roughly translated as demons, ogres, or trolls.

“Toukiden 2” is the sequel to “Toukiden: The Age of Demons”, which was released in 2013. “Toukiden 2” has already been released in Japan last year in July. The worldwide version of the said game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Microsoft Windows. It will be released in the United States on March 21 and in Europe on March 24 this year.
