Resident Evil 7 Mia Guide, Tips: How To Defeat Her

Resident Evil 7 players will have to fight Mia Baker in the game. Here are some tips on how to fight and defeat this female boss.

Beating Up The Wife

Ethan Winters is the name of the game's protagonist and Mia Baker is his wife. Unfortunately, players will have to deal with her since she is one of the evil bosses in Resident Evil 7. Ethan will have to be fast if he wants to survive his wife's deadly blows.

Initial Encounter

Mia will confront Ethan in a hallway. At this time, pull the right trigger when the time is right to defend against the wife's blows. She will then collapse to the floor. Player will then approach the seemingly lifeless body. Unfortunately, it's merely a ruse and Mia throws the player on the wall.

The good news is players now have an ax against Mia. Players should not be hasty with the ax swinging, though. Ethan should time the ax attack to counter Mia's own attack. Once the wife loses consciousness again, players should head immediately to the Guest House attic. Get the gun lying on the table and collect the all the bullets scattered around. Afterward, climb the ladder going to the attic's window.

Mia with a working chainsaw will greet players on top of the ladder. Ethan will have to drop from the ladder and run away from his wife. Players will need to pump as many bullets as they can against Mia. That task though is easier said than done. Ethan will have to keep his distance to Mia while shooting her. The chainsaw can kill players with just a few swipes.

Mia walks slowly but there are times that she will charge at Ethan with the chainsaw. It is important that players must avoid getting hit by it if they wish to survive the encounter. Once enough damage has been inflicted, the female boss will fall again. A walkthrough video on how to deal with her is available here.
