The iPads' selling game may have slowed down in the recent months. However, Apple assures everyone that the popular tablet will be refreshed pretty soon and it will come with great innovations. Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, has some positive words about the company's plans for the next-generation Apple iPad.

Tim Cook On Apple iPads 2017

As per Tech Radar's report, Tim Cook is not giving up on the iPads. In fact, he said that he is very 'bullish' on it and confirmed that the company will bring in more innovations on the said Apple device. Cook says that the company has some exciting things coming up for the iPad and he is still very optimistic about the product's possibilities. This is despite the fact that the unit's sales of the iPad were down 19 percent from last year.

Apple iPad 2017 Rumors

Apple's CEO hasn't been very generous when it comes to details. The only thing that's confirmed is that there will be new iPads coming up and Apple will be sure to innovate on it. This may be Cook's way to hype a product up without going into details. Nevertheless, rumor has it that there will be more than one iPad coming soon. This will practically be different from last year wherein only one iPad was introduced.

According to unverified but reliable rumors, Apple will be releasing three iPads this 2017. As per a PC Mag report, popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that there will be three new iPads coming out from Apple's doors. There would be a 12.9 inch iPad Pro, a smaller 9.7-inch model and a midsized 10.7 inch iPad. It was said that between these three, the 9.7 inch will be the budget-iPad, and this model is predicted to comprise about 50 percent of total iPad shipments. Needless to say, Apple hasn't confirmed any iPad 2017 model yet, so it's suggested that these rumors are taken lightly. Hopefully, the company will be able to announce the next-gen iPads soon as the last model is almost one-year-old.
