Right after a short hiatus in terms of releasing information, NetherRealm has already started their marketing campaign for Injustice 2. The release of information followed after the official story trailer released about a few weeks ago. There are a lot of characters that are still to be revealed for Injustice 2, and presently there is new information as to when it will be revealed.

NetherRealm gave a bunch of new character reveals around two weeks ago through its new story trailer. It includes the revelation of Damian Wayne Robin, Poison Ivy, Brainiac, and Bane. Among this group, it is only Robin that has a video that exhibits his gameplay. Whereas the trailers of the other three are still to be unveiled, according to the Attack of the FanBoy.

However, it is quite bizarre that the official Injustice 2 website was not updated in order to show these new characters, even Robin. Fortunately, they have now given an information about the next character reveal, and it will be on Feb. 2. The official text for it simply indicates "New Character Reveal" and a label of "2.2.17". It is really with great hope that this does not mean a gameplay debut of one of the three characters that were aforementioned.

Captain Cold is one rumored character that fits in this upcoming update since there was already an announcement about the presence of Flash who is his rival in the game. On the contrary, Flash gameplay wasn't shown yet. It is therefore great to notice that the upcoming revelation won't only include a new character of the game, but also the first gameplay for another character which includes Flash. The announcement's timing is most probably related to the release of more beta codes.
