'Santa Clarita Diet' Season 1: Drew Barrymore Takes Zombie Scenes To A Whole New Level

Recently, Netflix announced that the new series "Santa Clarita Diet" is now readily available for streaming. This is after fans shared their excitement to see veteran actress Drew Barrymore in action again. The said series stars Drew and Timothy Olyphant. The two would be playing the role of real estate agents. The story seems to be light at first but it would have its comedy-horror feels as the couple began to experience dark situations in their lives.

As per Movie News Guide, Shiela and Joel try to live their life normally in Santa Clarita, Califonia. All went well until Shiela changes from a human to a zombie who craves for people's flesh. News revealed that the show's storyline is quite weird as it promotes uniqueness and diversity. Some of the scenes might be disappointing to some audiences as it would feature Sheila enjoying human intestines and some blood. However, it was believed that Netflix's viewers are quite used to this scenario.

On the first episode of the show, it was revealed that viewers wouldn't see any clues regarding the true storyline of "Santa Clarita Diet". The show would give a glimpse of how the story looks like as time passed by which would definitely attracts a solid fan base for the show.

The story would also show the character's child clueless of her mother's situation. All secrets would be revealed to Abby as soon as she witnesses her mother coughing and vomiting some organ. The family would have to adapt on Shiela's current situation looking for organs of people who are single and evil.

"Santa Clarita Diet" Season 1 premiered last Feb. 3 2017 on Netflix and would have 10 episodes all in all.
