Rock Band VR Coming To Oculus Rift Bundle Preorders Available

Rock Band VR is being brought to Oculus Rift on March 23 by Harmonix. The long running rhythm game franchise will roll out in virtually reality, the developer announced. Oculus Rift owners will be able to purchase songs like Aerosmith’s Walk This Way, The Killers' When You Were Young or Paramore’s Ain’t It Fun can purchase Rock Band VR as a bundle exclusive to Amazon.

For $69.99, players can buy a guitar controller that will be compatible with either an Xbox One or a PlayStation 4 console which connects to a Windows PC via Windows 10 Anniversary Edition or through Bluetooth plus a digital copy of Rock Band VR. Oculus Rift headset is required by Rock Band VR and an Oculus Rift controller which will be attached to the guitar controller.

Rock Band VR players can play a note perfect performance of each song’s studio recording in the classic mode. Gamers can also opt for the performance mode which will give players the creative freedom of a live concert where players can adlib and no performance sounds exactly the same according to the game developer of Rock Band VR.

According to Harmonix, the performance mode, players can experiment with notes, chords and strum speeds to develop their own signature sound and make each performance their own. The players will be able to bring out the creative side in this mode of the game as reported by Polygon.

Rock Band VR is one of the biggest games which is exclusive in the Oculus Rift’s 2017 game list. It is officially being released in March 23. Harmonix and Oculus have opened preorders. Selected bundles will be compatible with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rock Band VR is a major revamp of the rhythm game franchise which has been widely popular. They announced that there will be a 60-song track in the selection as reported by The Verge.
