Accordingly, the Rubicon Recon Edition will be taking the place of the outgoing Rubicon Hard Rock that has one of the consumers' favorite flavors.

According to report, the several critical components of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler have been improved and this should allow the Wrangler to be able to take on tougher terrains with its Rubicon Recon Edition. It was also mentioned that the Rubicon Recon Edition is also a move by Fiat Chrysler to try to be in the lead in the rock crawling segment for off-roaders. "Rubicon Recon is the perfect Wrangler for our most loyal, diehard off-road enthusiasts who love to tackle the most demanding trails," said Mike Manley, head of the Jeep brand globally in a report.
2017 Jeep Wrangler: Performance Tweaks
As per Fox News, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition has heavy-duty end forgings along with a stronger Dana 44 with reinforced tubes. In addition, the differentials both in the front and rear section are stronger compared to the outgoing Hard Rock Edition as reported. Other than that, basically everything remains the same.
2017 Jeep Wrangler: Cosmetic Changes
Reports state that the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition has a set of 17-inch wheels with 32-inch BF Goodrich KM tires. Owners can also fit the wheels with 35-inch tires depending on their preferences. The interior features red seatbelts with stitching, which the automaker claims to be something that has never been seen by owners before. There are also a few other treats that are better left seen rather than being read about.
2017 Jeep Wrangler: The Rubicon Recon Edition Price
It was reported that the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition two-door has a price tag of $40,140. The four-door model on the other hand is priced at $43,940. The 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition is expected to be delivered in dealerships across the country later this month as reported.
