2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stringray Price Set

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray now officially has a price tag at $51,995, Chevy has stated.

The new price for the Chevrolet Corvette is a $1,400 increase from the current Corvette priced at $50,945. At that price, the Chevrolet Corvette certainly looks like a great deal, and General Motors agrees.

"The Corvette Stingray delivers a combination of performance, design and technology that very few manufacturers can match, and none can even come close for $52,000," Vice President of Chevrolet marketing, Chris Perry said.

Chevrolet has been trying to revamp excitement as well as sales numbers for the Corvette model, and with its price the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray should help do the trick. The vehicle is a power bargain, complete with a brand new 450 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine.

Those wishing to upgrade equipment and interior materials can opt from several packages. The 3LT package features a Bose 10-speaker surround sound system; Napa leather seating; navigation; leather-wrapped dash and instrument panel, console and door panels; color heads-up display; plus heated and ventilated seats with bolster adjustment and power lumbar.

The Z51 performance package includes an electronic limited-slip differential with cooler; 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels; high-performance gear ratios; transmission cooling, up-sized slotted brake rotors with cooling ducts; Chevy's Performance Traction Management system and improved chassis tuning. Also available for this Chevrolet Corvette package are Magnetic Ride Control dampers.

Chevy states that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray goes from 0 to 60 in under four seconds. Expect additional pricing and package options to surface as the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray nears its release date this fall.
