‘Shadowhunters' Season 2 Spoilers: Jace Is Done, Simon Addresses Clary

“Shadowhunters” Season 2 has been showing a steady number since day one. The last episode of the show left some cliffhangers and an intense confrontation between Jace Wayland and Aldertree.

Jace Have Seen Enough

Now, for those who are still not familiar with it, Shadowhunters are human-angel hybrids who possess incredible abilities that are impossible to normal human beings. Jace Wayland or Jace Herondale is one of the originals and the co-head of the New York Institute. Everybody thinks that he should be followed and should never be crossed. But it was a different story last episode.

This could be one of the best turning points of the show when fans saw a heated debate between Aldertree and Jace Wayland. Apparently, Aldertree blackmailed the best Shadowhunter(as of the moment) which irritates Jace. Almost everybody thought that he will get rid of Aldertree or even fight with him but it didn’t happen. The fans were shocked when he quitted as a Shadowhunter.

Season 2 Episode 8: Love Is A Devil

During a recent interview, Dominic Sherwood who plays the role of Jace Wayland commented on his character. He revealed that Jace is practically done being a Shadowhunter. Jace has been through a lot of twist and turns which are slowly destroying him physically and mentally. He taught that the notion of him going back to the place where he considers his home will provide him comfort but that is not happening. Dominic Sherwood also stated that her love for Clary is still there and she’s the biggest reason why he came back.

As for Simon and Clary, they will have a conversation that will change the outlook of their relationship. Its no secret that Simon and Clary are best friends. However, Simon is ready to move on with his life with his new interest by the name of Maia. Season 2 Episode 8 will pretty much revolve around the current relationship status between the main protagonist of the show.
