Multiplayer Modes In The Game

According to Gadgets 360, there are three multiplayer modes available in For Honor namely, Duel and Brawl, Deathmatch, and Dominion. For Duels, as what the name suggests, players go head to head with either another player or a bot, in a best of five match. Brawls, however, are different as players are partnered with another player and would go against two other players in a best of five matches like duels.

Deathmatch has two sub-categories namely Elimination and Skirmish. For Deathmatch Elimination, the player is joined by three other players to go up against another group of four players. The last player standing would be declared the winner of the match. For Deathmatch Skirmish, like Elimination, a team is composed of four players fighting another team of four players, but this time, each team is supported by AI in the form of foot soldiers and captains. The objective of this mode is to be the first team to reach the score of 1,000 by killing enemies.

In an article by Polygon, the Dominion mode is somewhat similar to the Deathmatch mode, wherein four players go up against another group of four players. However, this time the objective is different, players must hold and capture an area to gain points. The first team to reach 1,000 points by holding and capturing an area, wins.
