"The Originals" is slowly revealing its main storyline for season 4, but the cryptic promo photo recently released by the show had fans questioning about the installment's villain. The image features a small girl surrounded by dead ravens which many fans believe is Hope. Speculations then have it that "The Originals" season 4 will center on Hope and how she slowly brings out the Mikaelson abilities in her.

"The Originals" season 4 is set to return to CW in March, and the trailers and photo teasers dropped for the show testifies to the huge role that Hope will play. It was recently revealed that the upcoming installment will hop to events five years from where the story left off in season 3. Hope will play a key role as she will return with Hayley, and now she is a grown-up kid who shows strong signs of her real power.

Previous spoilers revealed that Hope will learn her true relationship to Klaus. It is also said that she will discover her abilities that she got from her father, and these will help Hope save Klaus from Marcel. Also, it was recently theorized that Hope will have a big participation in strengthening the Mikaelsons at it will be discovered that Marcel is not the most powerful hybrid after all, but she is.

With the latest promo photo released by CW, fans speculate that Hope will battle some sort of an evil, and some guess that there will be another entity coming to the show that is much powerful than Marcel. The Mikaelsons are still nowhere in the photo, and it will be Hayley's mission to reunite them by bringing the cure with the help of her daughter.

However, this will mean that she will go against Marcel and Vincent who took over New Orleans. This does not mean though that the two created an alliance together. Some fans believe though that they will sort things out on "The Originals" season 4 and will fight the Mikaelsons alongside each other.

The production though is not confirming any of the speculations, hence answers will come when "The Originals" return on March 17 on CW.
