MWC 2017: LG G6 'Wide Angle Camera',Oppo 5x Zoom and Samsung Tab S3

Mobile World Congress is an annual trade show. The venue moves around Europe, but in the past few years, it has been held in Barcelona, Spain. This year 's event will be held on 27 February to 3 March. These are the long awaited days that the show itself is open, the press days where the big announcements happened. 26 February, Sunday, will be the big launch day, the day before the show opens to visitors, with a number of confirmed press events.

LG G6 Wide-angle Camera Set Up

LG has already started teasing elements of its upcoming flagship killer, first talking about display technology, what people want from a phone and then batteries. In a press release, LG confirmed that on the rear of the phone, there will be two 13MP sensors, one equipped for standard shots, the other for wide-angle images. This is a pretty huge upgrade considering LG's previous dual camera setups have used only a single high-resolution camera for standard shots, but an inferior camera for those spectacular wide-angle images.

Oppo 5x Zoom

The release didn't provide full details apart from teasing the launch of a 5x smartphone photography technology that will give users unprecedented ability to capture highly detailed images. This leads us to a belief with reasonable surety that there is a smartphone with 5x optical zoom. "We chose MWC to unveil "5x" technology with the hope that we can inspire the industry to aim higher, and to continue to create pioneering products that give amazing experiences to consumers," said Oppo President.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3

Since it's not ready to unveil the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017 this Sunday in Barcelona, Samsung will use this event to unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 instead and just today it has obtained a new certification, this time from the Taiwanese NCC, which means Samsung is now free to sell the Tab S3 in Taiwan. The Samsung Galaxy Tablet model number SM-T820, which has dual-band Wi-Fi capabilities but no built-in LTE. The Galaxy Tab S3 has been tipped to come with a 9.7-inch 2,048x1,536 display. Powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset, it has a massive 4GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage. It is also set to feature a 12 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies.
