Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is about to hit the market very soon. As the day to its release approaches, Nintendo just keeps firing new information to keep fans on the hype train.
Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Story Background and Characters
The official Japanese Website recently updated and revealed information about the game. It wasn't very detailed, but it gives fans a sneak peak of what's coming.
According to Gematsu, Breath of the Wild happened 100 years after a great calamity in the Hyrule Kingdom. Link wakes up from a very long slumber in an underground ruin. Guided by an unknown voice, he walks into a land where challenges are waiting for him.
Link is introduced as a young man who wakes up without recalling his past. He wakes up guided by an unknown voice and finds himself on a journey to Hyrule.
Zelda is the princess of the Hyrule Kingdom. She is introduced as an intelligent girl full of curiosity. In the story, she is found to be doing research on the ancient ruins scattered around the Kingdom.
Daruk is a Goron who lives in the Kingdom. He is cool and calm. As the head warrior of the Goron, he has a valiant side that he shows in every battle. Letting out a fierce cry that topples down his enemies.
Mipha is a Zora who resides in Hyrule. She has a reserved personality and possesses a special power that is unique for a Zora.
Revali is a Rito who resides in Hyrule. Not much is said about him, but he wears the same blue cloak as Daruk and Mipha.
Other characters on the website are the Guardian, which is described as a Relic from the past. It is said that at the time of the Calamity, Guardians started attacking people. After 100 years, they are still on the loose and are still attacking. The last character is Bokoblin, a species of monster that inhabits Hyrule. They can be often found by their hideouts together with other Bokoblins. They don't like bees and have a cute side to them. However, if they saw you, they will definitely attack.
Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Volvagia in the advert?
Legend of Zelda fan HMK expressed in Youtube recently showed a new advert from Japan. In the said clip. We see familiar scenes in the past trailers, however, one is not enough, as the new advert shows a familiar looking Dragon that he himself thinks to be Volvagia, the boss of the past Zelda game Ocarina of Time.
However, there is no official confirmation from the developers.
Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild comes out for the Nintendo Switch and WiiU on March 3.
