LG X400: A Midrange Phone With Great Specs

LG, in December, revived its K-series of smartphones ahead of CES 2017 last month as the company announced the new versions of LG K3, K4, K8, K10 smartphones. While all eyes are on LG launching the flagship G6 smartphone at MWC 2017 in about a week's time, the company has unveiled a new smartphone in its home country, Korea. The LG X400 is essentially the 2017 version of the K10.

LG X400: Design And Processor

The only thing notable between K10 and the X400 is that the latter comes with HD DMB support for mobile TV viewing. The LG X400 features a 5.3-inch In-Cell Touch IPS display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution. Designed with 2.5D curved glass on top, it ispowered by MediaTek MT6750 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz. As for the graphics, it has the Mali-T860 GPU. In terms of memory, the X400 comes with a decent 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded by up to 2TB via microSD card.

LG X400: Camera And Features

The rear camera on the X400 is a 13MP unit, with a LED flash next to it. For selfies, the handset includes a 5MP shooter on the front, with superb 120-degree wide-angle lens. For connectivity features, the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, and 4G LTE. The fingerprint sensor has been placed at the back of the device, just like the other LG smartphones. Under the hood of the X400 is likely to be a great performer, thanks to a 2800 mAh battery life inside.

LG X400: Availability And Price

The LG X400 comes with a curved glass surface on the sides that is said to provide a comfortable grip to the smartphone. In addition, the smartphone comes with a textured back. Available in Gold and Black with Gold color options, LG X400 is priced at $280.
