The 2017 Subaru WRX and WRX STI are among the most recognized models in the sports car segment. In the recent ALG Canadian Residual Value Awards, the 2017 WRX and WRX STI have earned another prestigious honor for the Subaru as the models have been given the "Best Sports Car" award.

The Best Sports Car Award

As per Torque News, ALG explained that compared to other sports cars in the segment, the 2017 Subaru WRX and WRX STI are expected to be able to retain a high percentage of the models' original price tag after four years. Accordingly, the sports car segment is known for easily dropping the value of its cars. However, Subaru WRX and WRX STI are different. Given this fact, the Subaru WRX and WRX STI have been dubbed by ALG as the best sports cars on the planet.

Not The First Honor

Apparently, this is not the first time that Subaru was able to earn this prestigious award. According to report, this is the second time in a row that the Subaru WRX and WRX STI were given this honor. This also marks the sixth time that Subaru WRX and WRX STI have been able to earn the top honor from ALG in a period of nine years.

The Best Mainstream Brand Award

According to report, Subaru has also earned the "Best Mainstream Brand" award from the ALG's 2017 Canadian Residual Value Awards. In addition, it was mentioned that this is the third consecutive year that Subaru has earned this title. Given this fact, Subaru clearly offers the most out of consumers' hard-earned money. "Being named Best Mainstream Brand in the 2017 ALG Canadian Residual Value Award, for the third year in a row, is further proof of what Subaru owners experience for themselves - a Subaru offers excellent value for the money," said Shiro Ohta, Chairman, President and CEO of Subaru Canada in a report.
