Microsoft's Concern For People
Microsoft is a big company that focuses mainly on all people globally. Its products and initiatives are constantly improving lives all over the Globe.
Today, Beta News reports that the Windows OS manufacturer has announced that it will better protect Mexicans and other Latin American people with regards to information security: through the company's means of opening a new cybersecurity center in Mexico. The company is also collaborating with Mexico's Federal Police to better fight cybercrime.
"Microsoft is officially launching a Cybersecurity Engagement Center in Mexico, as part of a global initiative towards presenting the company's unique perspective on matters of cyber security. The company aims to reinforce its commitment to help people, most specifically companies and countries within Latin America to help them continue their journey towards digital transformation, with decades of experience in the development and ongoing improvement of software, as well as the operation of one of the industry's most trustworthy and robust cloud computing platforms," according to a statement coming from Microsoft.
Microsoft Working To Prevent Cyber Crime
According to Venture Beat, Jean-Philippe Courtois, executive VP and current President for Microsoft's Global Sales, Marketing and Operations also said that the new center will work along with Microsoft's Cybercrime Center in Redmond, Washington. Their main objective is to help companies and governments with their very own security solutions, which can help them in their digital transformation through the international support of the legal strategies that the company offers.
