Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor Sequel Confirmed Mithril Edition Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has just confirmed that Middle-earth Shadow of War the sequel to Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor will be released on Aug 22. The game will be coming to Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, Project Scorpio, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

Shadow of War will be brought back Celebrimbor and Talion. They will be going behind enemy lines to turn all of Mordor against Sauron the Deceiver. The game will expand the Nemesis System which is found in the Shadow of Mordor. The sequel will be introducing entirely new stories of loyalty, betrayal, and revenge.

In the sequel, the Nemesis System shapes the environments and characters by players’ actions and decisions and is applied to the entire world. The system is also expanded to create a unique personal world through Nemesis Fortresses. This allows players to use strategies to conquer strongholds and create their own worlds with their own unique Orc legions.

David Haddad, president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment stated that Monolith Productions continues to provide deeper and personalized gameplay experiences which are coupled with authentic storytelling. He says that Middle-earth: Shadow of War really drives the genre forward by taking the Nemesis System to new heights.

The game will have four different versions which are standard, silver, gold, and mithril. There are no listed prices for the four editions yet. Pre-ordering the standard versions will give players a legendary Champions War Part and exclusive Sword of Dominion.

The silver edition will also come with the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion, Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, and a Silver War Chest. This is said to be worth $90. These Nemesis expansions will include a new Orc Tribe which features new followers, new enemies, abilities, missions, weapons, Fortress, a Mythic Gear set and wilderness updates.

The gold edition adds on top of the silver the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion and a Gold War Chest. This will be worth up of $125. The new campaign, playable character and abilities, enemies, side missions and allies will be introduced with the story expansions as reported by Polygon.

Those who are interested in purchasing the mithril edition, this will only be available as an exclusive through GameStop. The mithril edition will give buyers the silver and gold packs. On top of the goods from silver and gold, mithril edition will also give players a limited edition 15-inch Tar-Goroth Balrog versus Carnan Drake statue. They will also get a premium case with a magnetic ring of power, gold and mithril war chest, a cloth map of Mordor, Tribes stickers and more all of which is said to be worth $350 as published by GameRant.
