Asus Zenfone Max 3S Big Battery Isn't Impressive At All

Asus' newest mid-range phone, the Zenfone 3S Max, has just entered the smartphone market. As of now, it is still fairly new to the industry as it is still three months old.

Strategic Enhancement For Asus

However, Asus has clearly strategized things up with its newest Zenfone. According to Tech News Inc, Asus released the phone in hopes of fending off the competition that seeks to put its flagship phone in the sidelines.

Despite boasting a set of enhanced specs, as well as a new and bigger battery, it still is not safe from critics. The battery is the Zenfone 3S Max's focal point.

Lack Of Quick Charging Feature

Featuring a 500 mAh battery, it is capable of playing games, browsing the internet and even watching YouTube videos for two straight days. According to Wap Business, despite putting the phone's brightness to full, it was still able to last for a full 6 hours before it went down to 10 percent.

However, the downside of the Zenfone 3S Max is that its battery is not capable of Quick Charging. This is the reason why most users criticize the phone, as it is a big hassle for them to spend 4 hours just to complete the charging of the battery.

This would surely deal a negative blow to Asus as there are a lot of other phone manufacturers that feature Quick Charge. The Asus Zenfone 3S Max is priced at around $200.

With this, it is still regarded as one of the top three phones in terms of battery capacity. Despite this, the phone doesn't feel bulky as it only weighs 175 g.

Its matte back finish, round edges, lightweight dimension, and price might be all good for the regular customer. But still, all of these could not make up for its lack of a Quick Charge feature.
