Pokemon GO Update: Niantic Quietly Releases A Patch For Android

Pokemon GO has broken all of the records upon its launching. It also became one of the major hits in the mobile gaming world. It was able to bring nostalgia for fans of the original Pokemon series. It was seen that the new gaming interface was able to bring together the real world and the virtual world, thus it resulted in the majority of its gamers generating high engagement ratings. It seems though like the craze will not stop anymore.

Since its launch, Niantic constantly released updates in order to bring about general improvements, fixes, and new features into the game. As for the latest developments, developers have released a new update for its Pokemon GO android app thus making its version 0.57.4. This new update focuses on improvements on performance that will bring in smoother gameplay among its players, according to Racing Junky.

Niantic also released a major update last month via version 0.57.2, which brought about a handful new features. The list of these features includes a new Poke Ball and Berry selection carousels into the encounter screen. There is also a new night mode map and an encounter music. Some bugs and text fixes were also integrated into this update, as per Otaku Kart.

CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, announced at MWC 2017 that Pokemon GO will be having three major updates within this year. Two of them will surely be as big as the Gen 2, and these updates will come alongside a complete modification of the gym. It will also surely be bringing in more Pokemon into the game.

It is also just about the time that Niantic will be incorporating the legendary Pokemon such as Mewtwo, Mew, Moltres, and Zapdos. The company also plans to identify users who will be faking their GPS location just to be able to play the game on their sofa.
