Pokemon GO Update: St Patrick's Day Event Arriving? Details Here

The latest Pokemon GO update included a new Pokemon Celebration event, which allowed fans to catch cheerful Pikachus. This new event started on Feb. 26 at 1:00 PM, PST. Although it has already officially ended, Niantic has confirmed that the special Pikachus will be keeping its party hats for as long as they want. However, it can only be found during this limited-time offer.

Niantic, the Pokemon GO developer, will already be looking at teasing the next big in-game event for only a few hours after the Pokemon Celebrations will be going live. Pokemon GO was able to win Best Mobile Game during the DICE Awards. It leads to a member of the development team to tell fans about saving their in-game candy.

Even if Pokemon Day  has already ended, it could be followed soon by another Niantic event. The Silph Road said that this could be a teaser for another new double XP event. It will be based on a pattern that comes with event rewards, as reported by Express UK. Niantic might be cooking something for St. Patrick's Day or Mother's Day, especially if the next Pokemon GO event will be taking place before Easter.

Niantic was able to make a recent release of a new Pokemon GO update on iOS. On the other hand, dataminers decided to look at the possible changes, yet they were not able to find something relevant to the report. Just recently, Pokemon GO fans were able to get their first experience of the 80 new Gen 2 Pokemon that arrived to the game as part of the new update, according to Otakukart.

Furthermore, there might be significant changes that are already planned for both Gym battling and trading. Trading seems to be one of the biggest changes that was developed for the game, especially when Niantic made a confirmation that it will only make it available through proximity.
