Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is Now Running On A PC Emulator

The latest installment of the Zelda franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has only been released last week and since then, it has been hailed as a masterpiece by both the gaming community and by critics. The innovative graphics and a superb storyline that's partnered with the highly sought after Nintendo Switch has propelled Breath of the Wild onto the top of gaming charts and lists. Now that its popularity is rising, people are making ways to make this game available to a wider audience in the PC market.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild And The PC

According to Gear Nuke, the game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was not only released on the Nintendo Switch. It has also been released on the Nintendo Wii U. And at this point in time, the game has already been somewhat running on PC emulators.

Currently, there are no emulators for the Nintendo Switch, but there are emulators for the Nintendo Wii U. So naturally, since the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on the Wii U, developers are trying to make the game run on emulators for the PC. They have already uploaded a video of the game running on an emulator called CEMU.

The CEMU And More

In an article by Heavy, the Wii U only supports resolutions up to 1080p. However, with the CEMU, it allows gamers to play their favorite Wii U games on the PC in 4K resolution. As such, players need to have an amped up PC because it needs to have the power to support the quality of the games that are played on the emulator.

However, as of the moment, the developers of CEMU has not yet released to the public the version of the emulator that allowed the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be played on the PC because of some certain problems. To further prove the point, one of the developers of the emulator said that, at the moment, there are a lot of bugs that makes the game unplayable. Specifically, there are glitches, physics problems, rune abilities that don't work and more.

Regardless of the problems, it is quite fantastic to know that at this early stage of the game's release that a version for the PC has already been started on and is progressing each day that passes. Hopefully, CEMU wouldn't take long to release the latest version of the emulator and to fix the problems with the game because there are a lot of players who are eagerly waiting.
