One of the all-time favorite mother-daughter tandem series might just hit back the television soon. It has just been reported that Netflix is considering to revive “Gilmore Girls” with a whole new season or maybe even more. And it’s just about the time that they did.
Netflix To Revive 'Gilmore Girls'
Finally, it has just been reported that Netflix is taking into consideration to bring back the popular television series, “Gilmore Girls”. If the revival is greenlighted, the said series will be airing new episodes in a full new season. It was all thanks to the successful and great reception of the brief revival of the series with “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”, which aired in November 2016.
But because the four-episode revival ended with a cliffhanger, it was revealed that the series was open to more installments for the said series will be created. The creators of the said series, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino said that the revival is still in the talks and it is still too early to tell. They said that they loved how the fans loved the four-episode revival but it might take quite some time before they can say that “Gilmore Girls” will be officially back.
Possible Storylines For 'Gilmore Girls' Revival
As mentioned, “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” left fans with a yearning for more when it ended with stories that are still open for answers. One of the unanswered mysteries was Rory’s pregnancy and everyone knows there’s a story behind that. Fans are itching to know just who the father of the child is.
Aside from that, Luke and Lorelai once considered having their own child through surrogacy and that wasn’t explored enough or given a proper closure so that should be given some thought. Some are asking that the comeback of “Gilmore Girls” should have more scenes with Jess Mariano and how he deals with his feelings with Rory. Regardless of how the story becomes in the revival, fans will pretty much be treated to more of the everyday drama of the Gilmores and coffee.
