“Dragon Ball Super” is getting more exciting with its ongoing Universe Survival Arc. Even with its new episode, which is the 83rd one, yet to be aired this weekend, official updates on episodes 84 and 85 have already been released. The new teasers revealed a shocking rematch and a twist with Goku’s warrior scouting.
Android 18 Refuses Tournament Of Power
“Dragon Ball Super” episode 84 have already been teased some time ago, revealing the return of the Androids, specifically Android No. 17 and Android No. 18. The previous teasers gave away that they will be scouted by Goku and eventually join the Tournament of Power. However, the new update revealed that thought Krillin agrees to join, Android 18, who is Krillin’s wife, is actually refusing to participate in it.
Now, this would be devastating as Android 18 is very strong and even as an android, she is technically still part human, which means she can still level up. Goku thinks of an idea and decides to lie to Android 18 so they can convince her to join. Android 18 decides to join after Goku tells her that a prize money awaits the winner, which amounts to 10 million Zenny. This episode will air on April 2.
Goku Vs. Slim Majin Buu
“Dragon Ball Super” episode 85 will have more than just the return of Android 17 to look out for. The new update has revealed that while Goku heads to Dende’s temple looking for Android 17, he runs into Majin Buu. Apparently, Majin Buu has been training for the Tournament of Power and has slimmed down, probably looking a bit like his original self. To put his training to a test, Goku and Majin Buu ends up sparring.
Fans are psyched about this because this will be a rematch between the two and no one expected this to happen during the Universe Survival Arc of “Dragon Ball Super”. The last time Majin Buu and Goku fought was back in the “Dragon Ball Z” series and they really went at it, showing how strong they were. This revelation is interesting because even though Goku already knows that he was above Majin Buu’s level, they will still be sparring and this could lead to a further revelation that Majin Buu has grown stronger. Akira Toriyama though has never confirmed whether Majin Buu can train and get stronger because Majin Buu is a demon that sucks people’s energy to get stronger.
