Yet Another Overwatch Feature Will Be Getting Patched Soon

The Overwatch Play of the Game (POTG) system is a great way to show off some amazing moves during the match but it is currently suffering from some problems. Luckily, Blizzard has addressed the ongoing issue and promised an upcoming fix.

Overwatch POTG System Getting Patched

Redditor Reilouko recently created a topic explaining that the Play of the Game mechanic has been broken over the past month as some of the featured clips at the end of a match were less than impressive. The netizen explained that they had gotten a quad kill in one match when the mechanic decided to feature a double kill instead. Similarly, many other users have also taken to the subreddit to share their own experiences about the bug.

The said topic garnered plenty of upvotes with the community coming to an agreement that the system is indeed broken. Luckily enough, lead software designer Bill Warnecke has already acknowledged the glitch and claimed that the studio has already found an internal fix to this problem. With this in mind, fans should expect a fix to come soon in the later patches of the game.

Mei Glitch Addressed With Fix Coming Soon

Similarly, another fix is coming soon as well. Mei is currently suffering from a bug wherein her ultimate ability disappears if someone kills her just when she casts it. PVP Live shares that Warnecke has also responded to this issue and claimed that they have also fixed this bug internally. He also added that this fix will come soon in the "next major content patch," which hints that there might be something coming soon.

For those unaware, Blizzard recently teased a video featuring a prominent date of April 12. Blizzard has yet to expand on this but many are speculating that it might be the very first lore event. For now, fans will just have to wait for further information regarding future Overwatch patches like the POTG system.
