Following various speculations regarding Brangelina's divorce, one director now claims that Jolie's relationship with her brother is the real reason why the actor got divorced from the A-list actress. Documentary filmmaker Ian Halperin allegedly has some inside knowledge into Brad Pitt's relationship and breakup with Angelina Jolie. Unlike any other speculation, however, the couple's divorce apparently stemmed from Angelina's closeness to her brother, James Haven.

Debunking Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt's Divorce

According to Wet Paint, it appears that the filmmaker behind the upcoming documentary, "Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina" seems to be certain that Angelina's affection towards her brother is what had put Brad over the edge. In one of his statements, Halperin claimed that Jolie's brother was actually close to the couple that he was actually living with them. The filmmaker adds that there were photos of Jolie and James in 2000 where the two were reportedly caught kissing backstage on the red carpet.

On the other hand, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that sources close to Angelina have already denied the rumors several times, claiming that they are just mere rumors.

Meanwhile, it can be recalled that before Halperin's explosive revelation, the couple's divorce was allegedly seen because of Brad's alcohol problem and verbal abuse of the kids.

Ultimately, it was in September 2016, where the actress filed their divorce after a drunken Pitt has allegedly yelled at their 15-year-old son Maddox while inside the plane. However, amidst the controversies, Halperin said that Angelina and James are as close as ever working together for the best interest of the kids. As of the press time, the estranged couple is yet to give their comments regarding the said issue.
