The Portland Trail Blazers who made a run to reach the number 8 spot in the Western Conference is looking to upset The Golden State Warriors. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics wants to show the rest of the NBA that getting the number 1 seed is not a fluke.
Damian Lillard Predicts Upset
NBA Playoffs is where legends are born and careers are made. Throughout history, there are multiple players who made a living in performing at one of the highest stages in sports. Damian Lillard of The Portland Trail Blazers is one of them. During his interview right after the game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Damian Lillard was asked about Golden State Warriors. Lillard answered them directly stating that they will win in 6 games. The Boston Celtics is again the kings in the East. The Big Three Era of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen was the last team that led Celtics to the glory days. The current roster wants to replicate the 2007-2008 teams success but they have a big obstacle on their way. The Cleveland Cavaliers might have fallen to number 2 spot but they are still the defending champions. Also, Washington Wizards is lurking at number 4.
