Twitter Debates: Who Is Better, Eminem Or Kendrick Lamar?
The Twitter world exploded the other day when somebody posted a question on who is the best MC/rapper alive today. There were two names that stand out on the list - Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.
Arguably two of the most brilliant lyricists of all time was the main topic on Twitter yesterday. Fans have different options on who should be called as the best MC/rapper alive today. Both are perfectionists with regards to their craft but surprisingly they do have a different style. A lot of people had already given Eminem the nickname Rap God due to his epic verse and songs. However, Kendrick Lamar is making a statement that he too is not far behind from Eminem.
Eminem The Rap God
To compare these two rappers is easier said than done. The music industry already has witnessed the full potential of Eminem as he took the music world by storm over a decade ago. Eminem is highly respected by his peers due to him breaking the ground for other white rappers. Technically, Eminem is not the first white rapper in the game. However, he is the most popular and most successful ever. Eminem also has numerous number 1 songs and albums who broke some records. His accomplishments really speak for itself but as famous as he is, Eminem wants to live a private life.
Kendrick Lamar A.K.A K.Dot
On the other hand, Kendrick Lamar is again reminding the fans how great Compton rappers are. Lamar single-handedly ushered new waves of rapper and he is on top of the list. His artistry is very refreshing and he cites Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, and Eminem as his idols. Kendrick Lamar’s album “To Pimp A Butterfly” didn’t only break records but made a new sense of hope especially to those kids who are living in the projects. So who is the best among the two? That would be answered once both of their career has ended.
