The Last Of Us 2: Neil Druckmann Teases A New Tidbit About The Game

Naughty Dog has been quite tight-lipped about its ideas and plans for The Last of Us 2. However, creative director Neil Druckmann has shed some new tidbits about the upcoming game involving Shannon Woodward on social media.

The Last Of Us 2 Current Details

Fans have been soaking up all the information they can get when it comes to leaks or news about the highly-anticipated The Last of Us sequel. While the project was revealed not too long ago, Naughty Dog has been laying low regarding the plot and cast of the game. Because of this, there have been plenty of fan theories surrounding the fate of Ellie and Joel, which may or may not be true.

In spite of this, Express shares that the studio is now slowly trickling new information about the game. To begin with, the developer has been sharing images of the current cast on set during their motion capture footage. In line with this, Druckmann recently posted an image of actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson back together and ready to work. For those unfamiliar, these two portrayed the vital characters Joel and Ellie in the first game.

Similarly, the creative director also shared an image of co-writer Halley Gross mounting a prop and wielding a shotgun. With this in mind, fans should probably expect horseback riding combat to make a comeback with some hopefully expanded features.

New Teaser On Twitter Features A Dangerous Shannon Woodward

On the other hand, the studio also revealed a new actress is joining the cast in the game. Shannon Woodward, who is known for her role in Westworld, was recently spinning around a machete prop that her character may use in the game, as per another recent Twitter post. Despite this short teaser, Naughty Dog has yet to reveal her character's potential role.

The Last Of Us 2 is still under development with no word on any solid release date as of now. Fans will have to wait for further news regarding the finer details of the game.
