Fans will have to wait for months before "Outlander" Season 3 hits the screen. However, a teaser has been released to excite the viewers. The kind of details the teaser gives out is somewhat heartbreaking for many. The 40-second teaser suggests that Claire and Jamie are not together anymore.
At the end of Season 2, viewers came to know that Jamie sent Claire back to her time. Jamie was getting ready for the Battle of Culloden. Claire reunited with her husband Frank, as she thought Jamie was killed in the battle. However, when Claire comes back to Scotland after 20 years, she comes to know that Jamie was alive. Now, Claire must get ready to reunite with her husband. The point is that 20 years have gone by. Are these people the same as they were 20 years back?
Claire comes to her time in "Outlander" Season 3. She is now carrying another man's child, which is something Frank won't be happy about when they meet. Jamie is going to meet some new people while dealing with her role as a prisoner of a failed battle.
"Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other," the International Business Times India quotes the Starz synopsis. "And the question remains: when they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago?"
According to the Radio Times, no matter how much fans try, they can never bring Claire and Jamie back together. The trailer shows that Claire and Jamie's daughter is growing up in the 50s and 60s. She is graduating from college. However, Jamie lives a painful life in Scotland. However, no matter how much pain he has suffered, he is always thankful to God that He gave him "a rare woman."
"Outlander" Season 3 will air on Starz in September. It will also premiere on Amazon Prime.
