However, regardless how great the smartphones will be, fans shouldn’t expect them sooner than fall of this year. Google Will Unveil Three Pixel 2

Aside from the revealed Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, it was also reported that there’s a third Google smartphone device in the making. Its codename is said to be Taimen, which may or may not be part of the Pixel 2 series. Google tried really hard to remove the leaked codenames from its AOSP forum but failed to keep them private. And today, a new finding seems to suggest that the Pixel 2 smartphone series may see an earlier launch compared to the news last week.

Google Pixel 2 Release Date

According to BGR, Google doesn’t have anything to announce, that is why we don't need to be excited about it. At least one engineer from Google has access to a physical Pixel 2. The image below shows that someone was able to finally test a gadget in related to Google's next flagship, which is said to be "a walleye device.”

The search giant might want to launch the three Pixel 2 devices just a little earlier than what is expected, which is October of this year. As times goes by, it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that Google Pixel 2 prototypes are already available. After all, fans are expecting for Google to be working on both the new Pixel 2 smartphones and Android O.

On the other hand, Google is yet to satisfy and answer demands for the Pixel and Pixel XL, so it had better make sure the upcoming Pixel 2 series doesn’t have the same fate. According to Christian Post, Pixel 2 models will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. Qualcomm's latest chip is found on the latest flagship releases including the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6 and Xiaomi Mi 6.
